In addition to the ongoing Clarksville jail renovation project, Friends of Clarksville is looking at two additional projects for 2023. These projects would be funded by grants. Of course, we would have to be successful in obtaining these grants before we can move forward with the projects. The possible projects are the renovation of the existing basketball court located behind the water tower and the installation of a learning wall image panel which would be located in the Clarksville Community Park. The basketball court is jointly owned by the Village of Clarksville and Vernon Township Board of Trustees. We are working with them on the possible renovation of the basketball court.
