Hey folks, it's been a whirlwind of adventure as we work toward the prize of building a community playground. And speaking of prizes, we are amazed at the generosity and support of local businesses who are donating gift cards and merchandise for a gift basket ticket raffle that we have planned during a Cruise-In fundraiser event on September 28 from 12:00 to 4:00 at the future site of the park. We also get to hear great tunes from Better Daze classic rock band. Hopefully the weather will cooperate for the classic car show. Freewill offering for hot dogs grilled by the good folks at the Clarksville UMC. Kids activities will also keep your little ones entertained with face painting and other fun. Please plan to attend this great cause to build a future and great memories for our community. And definitely, get your tickets for some of the wonderful gift baskets. We plan to post a preview of these baskets to show you what's in store and to also give thanks to the many sponsors who are helping us.
